Cinderella Costume Plot

Description: 

This wardrobe plot indicates our interpretation of the costume needs of the production. It is intended to provide you with required costume changes and a feeling of the costume styles. Costumes outlined are in standard adult sizes-extremely large or small sizes may not be available. Also, specific colors and fabrics are not described due to new designs and availability in our stock (except where noted). Styles and accessories may vary.

Cast & Costume: 

Cinderella:

  1. Tattered dress, apron, headscarf, bloomers
  2. Dated Ball Gown with tear-away sleeve
  3. Fancy white Ball Gown with hoop, gloves and tiara
  4. Period Wedding Gown

Prince:

  1. Daywear tunic or vest w/poet shirt, breeches, boot tops, cape, hat
  2. Optional Change
  3. Fancy dress coat, vest, knickers, hose, jabot, order sash
  4. Daywear coat, vest, poet shirt, breeches, boot tops, hat
  5. Wedding suit

King:

  1. Fancy flared coat, knickers, poet shirt, crown, vest (optional fat belly)
  2. Add long over robe
  3. Fancy 2nd suit for ball, with regal cape

Queen:

  1. Fancy day gown with crown and panniers
  2. Dressing gown and chemise
  3. Fancy ball gown with panniers, crown, cape

Stepmother:

  1. Overstated day dress of the period with panniers and apron
  2. Chemise and dressing gown
  3. Overly fancy ball gown on the gaudy side, feathered headpiece, gloves, cloak
  4. Optional day dress change

Portia:

  1. Blouse double tiered skirt, bloomers, corset, apron, mob cap
  2. Gaudy over done ball gown, gloves, panniers, feathered headpiece, cloak
  3. Optional day dress change

Joy:

  1. Blouse, double tiered skirt, bloomers, corset, apron, mobcap
  2. Gaudy overdone ball gown, gloves, panniers, feathered headpiece, cloak
  3. Optional day dress change

Lionel:

  1. Tunic, knickers, order sash, socks
  2. Fancy dress coat, vest, knickers, hose, jabot, order sash

Godmother: Timeless gown with cloak

Cinderella Double: Tattered dress, apron, headscarf, bloomers

Herald: Tabard, poet shirt, knickers, hose, hat, jabot

Chef: White poet shirt, knickers, hose, shoe buckles, cook’s apron, chef hat

Steward: Fancy coat, vest, knickers, shirt, jabot, socks

Coachman: Colonial coat, vest, shirt, jabot, knickers, boot tops, tricorn hat

Footman: Colonial suit to co-ordinate with coachman

Guards: Tabard, poet shirt, knickers, boot tops, hat (Musketeer style)

Minister: Suit similar to Steward

Ball men: Cream uniform coat & pants with gold trim, jewel-tone order sash

Ball women: Jewel-tone ball gown, hoop, feathered comb, gloves

Male Villagers: Asst’d jackets, vests, breeches, shirts, hats, etc

Female Villagers: Asst’d daywear of the period some with hats, bonnets, aprons, etc
